October to November and March to April for milder road-journey conditions. Winter can be sharply cold at altitude; summer brings heat, humidity and heavier rain. The operating team reviews road and weather conditions before confirming remote sections of the route. The shape of the journey
Travel from Hanoi through Ha Giang and Cao Bang, with the route itself revealing high passes, karst valleys and remote northern landscapes before the return south. Final timings are built around your flights and confirmed services.
What makes this journey distinct
Cross the Dong Van Karst Plateau toward Ma Pi Leng Pass, where the road rises above the Nho Que River and folds through immense limestone valleys. Planned stops leave time to take in the scale rather than race through it.
